Description
Research into the advantages and disadvantages of the use of petroleum oil to kill plant pests has led to the eventual development of specifications for unsulfonated residue (UR) and distillation. These requirements are specific to the crop and the climate in which the crops are grown.
Holly manufactures two lines of spray oils which meet or exceed these specifications: Sunspray horticultural spray oils, registered as pesticides with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA); and Holly Ag Oils, carriers for chemical herbicides. This represents the most complete line of "superior" horticultural oils available in the U.S. today.
